Greentree Home Candle is a small American company based in the foothills of the Catskills Mountains designing and producing handmade beeswax candles. Jenifer Green founded Greentree Home Candle in 2000. She feels that creativity is the lifeblood that makes our everyday lives spectacular. She operates her business very much like an artist eagerly greets a fresh canvas. There is a delicate mix of confidence, chance and instinct based on her sense of style and passion for the creative process. With a fine arts background, Green hand selects and sculpts objects that appeal to her aesthetic value and inspire a sense of personal significance. From the studio, the company produces a collection of contemporary beeswax candles. The sculptural renderings are more than candles: they are objects that evoke beauty and serenity with graceful sophistication. With rich textures and a vivid palette of 18 colors, the candles are individually poured and hand-finished. Through the collections, Green aims to share her vision by creating candles that enrich the quality of our lives. Equally important to the intent and process is the choice of material. The company uses only pure beeswax. Green feels it is the ideal choice for candles because it's properties are naturally accommodating to the application. "When one of our candles is lit, not only does in burn cleanly, it transforms the object and gives off the sweet scent and a luminous glow". Greentree Home's products have been featured in O, The Oprah Magazine, Martha Stewart Living, House Beautiful, New York Magazine, Veranda, T Magazine, Brides, Country Living and a number of blogs including And North, Remodelista and Design Sponge. Their distinctive collection of handmade beeswax candles are available on this web site and through design boutiques and specialty retailers throughout the US and Canada.
